You only get one life. How are you spending yours?
Some people follow the crowd, others go against the grain, but all of us has dreams.
Some small, some big, and some way beyond our imagination.
In this one life, most of us wake up every single day
doing small efforts to make those dreams come true.
What about you? What is your dream?
When I was 7 I wanted to be a singer, model, a writer and movie star.
I wanted my name in lights, and face plastered throughout the town.
People didn’t want that for me.
“You’re too fat. You’re too dark. You’re too ugly. Do you know the chances of that actually happening”.
Those words dimmed my light as I grew older and formed me into what others wanted.
My dream went from a goal to a forgotten fantasy.
I lost myself and settled for expectations of society.
I went from dreaming to following suit, and guess what happened?
I played the cards that was bluffed instead of dealt.
I was told I would make a good lawyer because I liked to argue: I took a few classes and felt dull.
I was told I would be a great doctor because I liked science: I got a degree in science and felt no passion.
I was told I would make a good manger: I crawled up the chain to only throw away the title
– I wasn’t happy.
Then one day I looked at myself in the mirror:
I told myself that I will make my dreams come true because it lights my soul: Now I am here.
Writing for you, others, and the culture.
Doing small efforts every day to be that modeling singer in movies,
With my name in lights.
Since I made that decision that I was willing to die for my dream,
I wake up every day chasing my dreams to execute my purpose, which is helping others.
Clatchet Productions opened a new store: The Clatchet Shop
The Hidden Goddess With A Twisted Mind, Vol 1 & 2, is changing hearts across the globe.
My edges are growing back and I’m drinking water ( LOL).
And for once in my life, I felt like I was enough.
You can’t always listen to what others tell you: Especially when it goes against believing in yourself.
It’s hard listening to your whispers when others are screaming the opposite proposition.
So what should you do when society is against you?
Keep dreaming because it is all we have in this life --Dreams and moments.
Every moment, work toward your dream.
You’ll never get dull. Your light will never dim,
and your passion will never die.
Listen to YOU!
Others may want what is good for you (most don’t though),
but only you and God know what is best for you.
Who are you going to listen to?
Keep dreaming. Hold tight to those dreams. Work hard for your dreams. Become your dreams.
What is your dream?
